Home printing
For A4 or letter size, a good home printer with photo paper produces acceptable results. Use the highest quality setting and borderless printing if available. Home printing works for last-minute needs, but the quality won't match professional services for larger sizes.

FedEx, Staples, or a local photo lab can print larger sizes with better quality. Bring the PNG file on a USB drive or email it ahead. Ask for matte or satin finish — glossy can create glare in photos. A local shop can often print same-day if you need the first birthday poster quickly.
Online printing services
Services like Shutterfly, Vistaprint, or Mpix offer high-quality poster printing with delivery. Upload the PNG file, choose your size and finish, and they ship to your door. Order at least one week before the party to allow for shipping time. These services often have better color accuracy than home printing.
File preparation tips
Export your first birthday poster at the highest resolution available. For large prints, 300 DPI is essential. Check that no faces are near the edges — printers may trim slightly. Save a backup copy of the PNG file in case you need to reprint.
